meet freshman coach carlos anderson

Coach Anderson is excited to join the Chaparral High School Basketball Program as the freshman coach for the 2024-25 season. He brings a wealth of basketball knowledge and experience, having excelled as a collegiate player at both Southern Illinois University (SIU) and Minnesota State University (MSU). A standout super guard, Coach Anderson averaged 13.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, ranking third on his team in both categories. He scored 20 or more points in six games, including a career-high 30-point performance. Off the court, Coach Anderson works as an electrical engineer and enjoys staying active through workouts and exploring new destinations inspired by his passion for travel.
